Jimmy Carter's Law Day Speech, 1974 →
I have some major and fundamental differences with President Carter, but something reminded me of this speech. I consider it one of the most honest, prescient, and underrated political addresses of the last half of the 20th century.

Boxing Day Status
Great Christmas with the kids. With everything going on, they had a great day.
Ate too damn much, and as per the divorce agreement, the ex-wife made me an apple pie.
Got my first post-race run in at 11:00 at night, and stopped to drink 2 beers at separate neighbors house on the way home.
I have. ZERO to do today. Possibly watch the 2011 WS DVDs my kids got me. Possibly read in bed all day.
